The guy from Belgrade
I travel a lot around the world
and this scene was very fresh in my mind
till this guy came across my poetry

I don't know if he was the one
then what else is poetry
but instant creativity

from Zurich!
gal standing beside
a guy from Belgrade

from Zurich
sweet guy was he

The Belgrade guy

Are you the guy we met
at the airport

taking a flight to Belgrade
a few years ago

from Zurich
gal standing beside
loveliest gal

as a gal standing beside you
jumped high
at a tall guy
to kiss him
as you greedily stared
why hadn't it with you shared

then you both were in a queue
standing right behind her
was it you

I wonder
a guy from Belgrade
a kiss
imagine our guy says
OK


Well none the less
I shall post this scene
and call it

The guy from Belgrade
and under your tall shade

I think you have blue eyes too
were so shy then
any gal would have fallen for you

Oh what a lovely Belgrade child
maybe thenseventeen
three years passed
the air traffic screen
