My memory-Air force
Thursday,8th October 2020
It dates back to the year 1966
when my destiny was fixed
with the pride arm of the country
to join as an airman under the defence ministry
what was I before the recruitment?
unpolished rough diamond to present
the worth in times to come
Airforce welcomed with an open arm
it imparted us good English
to read, understand, and finish
with introducing many subjects
and take us out from the training institution
eighteen years of service to the motherland with postings
to all ends of the country
it was on-the-spot training to understand the country
Its people. customs along with peace and harmony
we were a bunch of the recruits
from the different parts of the country
with language, customs and different living
yes we managed and started believing
if we are one in perception
it is good for the nation
good for the federal structure
where we were moulded in one culture
