My Migration Poem by Ima Ryma

My Migration

Rating: 5.0

In Canada this butterfly
Has spent the summer, now it's fall.
Instinct tells me it's time that I
Prepare for heeding nature's call.
I have enjoyed my visit here,
So many flowers to choose from,
Providing nectar with good cheer.
As guest I always feel welcome.
But soon the flowers will be gone
As the weather begins to chill.
So it's my time for moving on,
With new adventures to fulfill.

Within the month and I will go
For wintering in Mexico.
