My Morning Walk Poem by Billy Loving

My Morning Walk

Rating: 5.0

During my walk today
I watched a man as he passed away
Such a ghastly scene, I see
Occurring in front of me
Suddenly falling to the ground
As the other people scurry around
A last final breath
Blank eyes filled with death
A bizarre reality
Overwhelmed by finality
People rushing to his side
To leave the scene, I decide
Listening to the bird's morning song
In shock, I walk along
