My One Moment Of Eternity
To be here in this moment eternally
to feel my breath, my heart,
every ache and pain
and each cell that lives within me
if only for this one moment of
my eternity.
I do not know what lies ahead
will I wake up from my bed?
will my heart cease to beat?
or some freakish cause of death?
All I know is, at this time
that I'm here eternally
breathing, beating, hurting, thinking
if only for this one moment of
my eternity.
