My Place Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Horizons new, they beckon me,
But I always love to be,
In this precious valley green,
For it sure holds the key.
The place where I was born and bred,
The place that steals my heart,
I shall never leave you,
We won't ever part.
You've filled my heart with memories,
That mean so much to me,
There will be no other place,
There will never be,
A place that I can call my home,
My roots are here forever,
I will always thank you,
We will stay together.
