My Poem
I tried to write a poem one day,
But nothing rhymed.
So I chose to fly away
From space and time.
I was left with lyric voiced
By sagest mime.
And ultimately forgiven
Of said crime...
I waited on inspiration to day
And let it flow.
Substance came before mere words.
I watched it grow.
Injecting me with rhythmic cord,
My heart aglow,
Brought nativity to act one in play
Next phase? God knows!
