My Secret Friends
Two butterflies, wonderfully black with blue spots
Performed a wonderful dance in my garden
They sent sensational vibrations through the air
Reaching my skin, sending ripples to my heart
Moving my mind and touching my soul.
I could hear the song of their longings
The melodies of waves on which they danced
I sensed their love, their zeal and passion
They will be forever my secret friends.
