This very much reminds me of a poem my grandmother used to recite to me fifty-five years ago. It began, 'I have a little shadow, that goes in and out with me' Sadly I have forgotten the rest of it now, I wish I could remember it, but this is very near to what it was saying. Lovely write and on such an interesting subject. I feel it's sort of come full circle. Love Ernestine XXX
Sylvia, my shadow behaves just like yours... I love it when he climbs the walls! Cute poem! Brian
When I wake up in the morning he's looking rather tall, it's then he gets excited and starts to climb the wall. Great words here, you're a star in the night of shadows, Love Duncan
Rosie, this poem was a joy to read. The fun (and sometimes fright) of having a shadow follow about is so well said. Such a pleasure to read.
