My Sisters Motherhood Poem by anju addanki

My Sisters Motherhood

I danced all day-
And am sure they did too.
When I heard the news,
That someone is coming soon.

We will wait and see-
How it goes.
As boy or girl,
No one knows.

We will shout with joy-
As it is time to buy a toy.
And then you see,
My sister is coy.

As time goes-
The tummy grows.
The baby is not yet here,
But love for the baby grows.

Dad's kiss to mom-
To make her warm.
And both are calm,
And that Motherhood's charm.

Now we all pray-
For baby's way.
Just wait for the day,
That will make our lives hay.
