My Soul Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

My Soul

Every moment is a flower in bloom
We reach for the inward color
Violets of a tempered life
Yellow daffodils growing in sunlight

Past all the false identity soul lives
Deep in the forest we gain insight
Quiet places amongst green ferns
Rivers of crystalline fountains flow

Purity shines from the true man
Lakes gather gentle star light
Trees sway in the mystic winds
Crickets sing ancient mystery

Themes of timeless wisdom
Graceful moon wanes over the sea
Tides wash away the sullen voices
Eagles graze the ruling sky

Axis touches Jupiter's guiles orbit
Saturn spins like a restless dream
Venus shines like a lioness of fire
Everything is commanded by beauty

Awe smiles in the autumn groves
Red and golden leaves sparkle life
Transcend into moments of pure being
The eternal shows its glimpses everyday

My soul reaches for the vast love I feel
