My Sea Lover Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

My Sea Lover

Rating: 5.0

Upon the sea I cast my poetry
dreams no longer have armies
protected by blue fleets of stars
serenity casts you away
careened on a bed of waterfalls
pineapple registry
shoreline of immense mystery
radiant convictions
her hair needs my caress
Dali painted your starling moon

if I could only write what I feel
this inadequate metaphor
permeable liaison of splits
You are a black horizon
another magician of Paris
we serenade like pirates
the law is a judge and a sword
we are the same palm trees
burning volcano orange
eyes like paradise

the room is illuminated
breath on the large window
souls delicate with tides
flowing like raven winds
opening with sublime acceptance
listen to the growth of friends
vague notions of subdued joy
colors of tropical freedom
voices of the delicate sea
forlorn myth washes ashore

foghorns are music out my door
you call me like sirens and cliffs
i hear the seagulls enchant
magnolias by swooning violet desire
eternity truly has stars
ballads with shells and kelp
come home my ancient muse
your laughter croons
yes I need you
my sea lover as gentle as fog
