My Soul Has Tender Skin

No matter how good it is
as it is, still I long
to feel and make it feel
that we are intimate friends

My soul has tender skin
when we physically feel
the love we feel
and the fierce passion

we smile together with it
My skin has hands
for intimacy, for you
tight against me

fingertips for
gently sparing
the delicate spots
and heartfelt contentment
