My Three Years Old Daughter Poem by Anshul Gupta

My Three Years Old Daughter

Rating: 5.0

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Oh my baby
so much I love you!

Your presence energizes me
Your smile refreshes my soul
You have made my family
complete and whole.

You engendered in my life inner peace
and outer success
After your birth
as if my soul started making progress.

I am sure we are soul mates
and that makes our relationship so intimate
No wonder why you sometimes call me your son!
But then, you must have waited for me
quite long in the heaven!

I get amused when you brush your teeth
with your tiny toothbrush
When you say papa, my heart gushes out love.

You speak to me
in your own language sweetly
I love to kiss you
holding you very tightly.

You look beautiful getting angry
over things, little and cute
When you are angry
My only choice is to become mute!

I love it when you advise everyone
to wear their car seat belt
Your painful jaundice treatment
when you were just three days old
provided my heart a prominent welt.

I dread the day
when you will go with your husband
Living without you will be quite a challenge.

I want you to know
Wherever you might be then
Your papa is with you now
and will be there with you then.
