My Values Poem by Amit Biswas

My Values

My values are stacked so high,
Resulting inabilities leave a sigh,
Even if it breaks my heart,
Values need remain intact,

Even a loved one unable to appreciate,
May meet distance as the only fate,
I am ready to take all the blame,
still unable to play their game,

Ungrudgingly I would retreat,
With loved one there can't be secret,
I maybe called judgemental,
But such damage is collateral.
