My Wishes - Poem by joe chibanda

My hands longing to touch you
My lips seeking to kiss yours
My heart beats faster at the thought of your body next to mine
My eyes waiting to see you
My mind can’t stop thinking of you

My dreams are only of you
My strength reserved for when I hold you
My words anticipating telling you
My feelings I can’t wait to show you
My inner thoughts all about you

My desires I want to share with you
My time to be well spent with you
My pain I want to give to you
Just as I want my love inside you
