My Words And Me Poem by indira babbellapati

My Words And Me

Is that words chose me
Or I chose them, I can't say
They are always floating
Around my being, alert
Enough to arrange themselves
Into meaningful patters;
Conceived as word-pictures
Viewed as life in motion
Looked at as sketches
Of human emotions
Some hear lyricism
Flowing out of them
And much more...

Whatever, I see them
As blessings words chose
To shower on me to express
To myself what I am
To show me life in black
And white as well in
Multiple hues; to mirror
My reflection at a fleeting
Moment of time in
The eternal scheme of SELF!

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Where do poet's words come from? I think you tried to answer. Let words choose themselves and let your poetry be eternal.

“I turned silences and nights into words. What was unutterable, I wrote down. I made the whirling world stand still.”........Arthur Rimbaud, A Season in Hell/The Drunken Boat the quote is dedicated to this poem and your right confidence, very rarely people have the power to make words their slaves....so whether words become your being, or you rule your words it's all one relation! ! !
