My Young Guest Poem by Ronald Strickland

My Young Guest

Young and beautiful in her bright evening gown
with hair the color of the dandelion,
with eyes so green peaceful and kind.
A friendly smile that gave me ease
in time..

With the children's toys she would play,

In the kitchen, stairs and hall's
she would appear the most
to see.

A song your cheating heart must of been
her favorite song. as i hear it muffle
though the wall's.

Host or guess i may never know,
From this life she has gone.

Her presents here doesn't bother me at all.
