Mystery Poem by Nell Sheridan

Mystery

Rating: 5.0

You haunt my thoughts, plaguing my mind, effectively,
Your eyes look away, as you covert your thoughts, almost deceptively,
What are your loves, your hopes, your fears? I wish to feel, from amid your soul,
To know your heart, mind and dreams is my ultimate yet intimate goal,
What thoughts run through your mind, when you lay down to sleep? ,
What secrets do you hold close, striving to keep?
Where do you go? , eyes distantly focused, showing depth of thought,
Your personality so opposite to the rights I have been taught,
You defy the logical world, your existence almost one of impropriety,
Being the person you choose, not merely a product of a failing society,
You are the soloist, amid the symphony of life, standing alone,
Impossible to disregard, enchanting in nature, your individuality is shown,
Individual to the very extreme, following the path you believe to be right,
Your differences mesmerizing, ensuring your company, pure intellectual delight,
Your mysterious soul enveloped in darkness, presence emanating,
The words you speak, intriguingly picturesque, captivatingly fascinating,
To be half the person you have become, is my valid aspiration,
A mystic aurora, strangely incomparable, searching for recognition and validation
Sincerely, trying to fathom, the beauty and mystery of just you,
I desire to know the very deep, compelling mystery of you.

You are a Mystery to me.
