Misunderstood Horsemen
(The Horsemen)
The bible of prophecytells the legend of thefour horsemen of The Apocalypse,
These legendary riders admirals etched within our sacred ancient holy transcripts,
They unleash reputed destruction upon humanityunchallenged reigning supreme,
They are the executioners of judgement day no recompense of forgiving they deem,

(Conquest/Pestilence - The white rider)
The white rider statutorybrings forth his bow a crown of victory so proudly worn,
His steed of white walks in honour as victory predicted hails the approaching dawn,
The lust for conquest hisobsession he's holding firm a spiritual desire in progress,
From his focus he will never waiver greed and desire fuel the basis of his success,

(War - The Red Rider)
The summoning brings forththe red rider full of fury a fierysteed with ambition,
The sword of war held firmthe battle cry echoeschallenging enemies in derision,
The thief of peace he will ignitebattle in the hearts of mankindwithmalevolence,
A depriver of contentment he will leave none standingthe certifier ofvengeance,

(Famine - The Black Rider)
Famine follows war the vulture finishing off ones that were missed with accuracy,
He bargains with the suffering to gauge how much to punish them in decendancy,
Scales his weapon as he offers wheat to those too weak famine already malignant,
He is the black rider showing the most malice a torturer so disgracefully abhorrent,

(Death - The Pale Rider)
The breaking of the seals thus summoning of the pale rider his swordengages,
The final rider in command by order of succession bringing thus the final stages,
He rides behind with Hades afoot to collect the numerous soulsto be collated,
He is the collector a gatherer of souls onceconquest, war and famine are abated,

(The misunderstanding)
These are the afflictions that humanity itself so ignorantly manifested artistically,
We fail to see The Horsemen are representations of mankindcharacteristically,
Our natures written in prophecy predicted forhumanityto openly comprehend,
Yet we offer our interpretation an unfair God and our judgement day the dividend,

(The Prediction of Truth)
As our greedy lust for power amplifies beyond all truth of sensiblerationality,
We seek Conquest to increase our perceived power over others thus predictably,
Conquest leads to War an inability to negotiate the welfare of our own nation,
War leads to Famine the sufferance ofinnocence in wasteful senseless dictation,
Famine leads to Death in consecutive predicted order a doomed societymisplaced,
Humanity itselflost to self destruction yet in God we are so wrongly disgraced.
