Broken

I see the silence of your heart, it is vivid in your mannerisms, contrary to your intended portrayal,
I see the shadow of escaping trust, the inward battle so sadly projected, extended effort it does entail,
I see your inward dissatisfaction, questioning yourself, yourdistant internal inadequacies,
I see what this world has inevitably done, betrayal is your sufferance, a world full of correlated apathies,

You have befriended fear, understandably I say, essentially sad for fear has become your concierge,
Indecision plagues you, scared of being hurt again, your friend fear is successful at pure sabotage,
Blame you I do not, debilitating pain is potentially,I see and feel you within the entire complexity,
Your pain so clear, so abundantly apparent to my eyes, yet others see only obscurity,

I will sit along side you, not a single wordspoken relatively, passively supportive withinintention,
No utterance is required, be yourself no conditions placed, no issues need a timely mention,
Who did what or why, matters not in this presence, you are all that matters presently,
When problems dissipate, I will still be here, take my strength my love my breathe freely,

Take all that you need, I want nothing in return, just your comfort for this short time,
When you feel better, when your pain has passed, know that all that you felt was benign,
The pain in itself, is not the issue, your reaction to betrayal, is whatcontinues to perpetuate,
Take comfort in another, control your fearful reaction, a loving heart fear will undoubtedly contaminate,

Such a beautiful declaration of sharing one's sorrow, lending comfort and care, unconditionally. You have indeed written a blueprint for what true friendship entails. Excellent penning!
