Nadya Ii Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Nadya Ii

Nadya, day;
Wild grapes!
Winter morning;
Mystic night,
Summer morning!
The morning fog;
Wild apes!
ouched by the sun;
Sunflowers!
Touched by the moon;
Raw diamonds!
Touched by the stars;
Raw gold!
Touched by your love;
In the land of elephants and giraffes.
Birth, girth!
Nadya, day;
The muse of love and joy!
if you want it, you will get it;
The muse of unity and peace!
You have to work very hard towards it;
Like a river between Namibia and South Africa.
