My eyes finally fall and everything has come to a halt
My head makes a new reality and I am, again, happy
Candy cane lanes and snowflake streams of sweet drinks
I am peaceful. The dreams continue to swirl
The actor has invited me, the chef has made me a cake
The businessman has offered me a job, the doctor lowered his rate
The kids are laughing louder in rhyme
The girls are honest and the boys are nice
Jellyfish roam freely as the birds collect their water
No homework or dotty chores, just summer
Endless moons of music and long clouds of overcast, the best days
Comfort has lifted me off into my new reality
To the place when I was, again, happy
Then my eyes finally fault and everything comes to a halt
