Natural Schemes Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Natural Schemes

Falling leaves hitting earth with colorful hues,
showering the ground with beauty.
Acorns lying there, being slowly buried so they
may one day become great oak trees in the scheme
of things all natural.
Silent awakenings fall upon deaf ears on snowy
winter nights, leaving us stranded with lone
thoughts of yore.
