Nature's Blend Poem by Marilyn Lott

Nature's Blend

Rating: 5.0

It was out from the tall grass he came
Listening and watching everything
For it is haying time once more
Creatures large and small it brings.

Quietly he stood and he waited
For he was as still as a stump
Then suddenly he took a chance
Way up high went his excited jump.

Though, sadly, his breakfast got away
But don't worry for once again
Those little creatures won't be so fast
For it is part of nature's blend!

Thank you so much. My husband actually took this poem of the coyote coming out of the tall grass in our back field. His camera is better than my at a distance.
