Nature's Blessings Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Nature's Blessings

This year is swiftly moving on,
Time flies and that's for sure.
I'll miss these days of summer,
when the flowers become fewer.
But Autumn is a special time,
when leaves turn red and gold.
I love those bright, brisk mornings
as the time of year unfolds.
Then soon it will be wintertime,
When snow falls once again.
I think back to those special days,
when I was only ten.
Berries red and juicy,
A feast for birds galore.
Hot chocolate on a winters night,
Who could ask for more.
Enjoy the little things of life,
So precious that's for sure.
Blessed to be a part of it,
A loveliness so pure.
