Nest Poem by Abhay Vignesh Liginlal

Nest

The sun and the moon are destined to never unite
They are eternal as long as the world lives
The sky and the earth always remain distant
Though they can see each other
The migratory bird made a friend while it wandered
Alas it is destined to keep migrating
Two songs mingled well though their tongues varied
Both sang the universal language of music
Before I wake up from this dream on earth
Let me love you again and again
Everyday, everywhere and in every hour of my life
No logic can sink this love for you
It will surpass all barriers of time
This love is a homeless bird in the sky of my life
Your love is the only nest back on earth
My earth will rejoice in harvest only then
When my bird reaches its nest
