Never Poem by Jolanta Gradowicz

Never

Rating: 5.0

There’re such buds that will never bloom
And big cities that never fall asleep.
There’re things you can never presume
And favorable winds that never sweep.

There’re dreams that will never come true,
And far-away places you’ll never see,
A few friends who will never fail you,
And future days you can never foresee.

There’re people you’ll never unmask
And words that should never appear.
There’re questions you’ll never ask
And answers that you’ll never hear.

There’re letters you will never send,
And faces on which tears never glisten,
And arguments you can never defend,
And poems I should have never written...

A poem of nostalgia. One can hear the poet's inner cry. Very touching, Jolanta. Warm regards, Sandra
