Never Do Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Never Do

What is there in color!
If that takes away your honor
People openly make joke
Pass the derogatory words under smoke

I feel abused
As if existence is refused
People love outer shield
I have ugly face to be held

I am not cruel from inside
The thoughts are noble to hide
But I express visibly to people
Always try to hear their woes in trouble

I am fat
But can give date
That is worth gift from kind heart
That should only be counted as an art

Let people not care
One day they may need and dare
Ask for hand and plead
You may then correctly read

I shall love all
For all those who respond to call
I breathe as simple human
To be called kind later on as man or woman
