Never End Poem by Christopher Forrister

Never End

(man)
All so quick I never knew
That she would call me out
Never see, unguided you
filled with more than doubt
Sing with me my never end
So I will always know
My soul is sold to my good friend
the seed that love will grow.
(woman)
Away away beyond the reach
of all I've known or care
Gone so gone from all I love
and all that can be there
I live a life of plastic lies
true love no more to sing
how am I to find my way
when darkness is my king?
(man)
Lover darling, only one
will you reclaim the throne
from one so deep. so dark. so stained
as I that stand alone?
Never walk the land of dreams
the love of yours to shine
oh cherish me my beauty fair
and now at once be mine!
(woman)
You must see, you're gone from me
I can never hold your hand
Lost as I, to where I flee
inside to understand
Sigh with me my never end
So I will always know
You were once my one true friend
But now I have to go!
