Never Has It Ever Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Never Has It Ever

Never has it ever,
Paid to assume...
The knowing of anyone.
Or something to hear,
Heard through gossip.
To spread with lies told.

This done to do,
Will always disappoint...
Those introduced to truth.
To leave them painfully feeling,
The fools they are.
Proving themselves to be!
