New Day Poem by Leslie Ching

New Day

A fresh new day, a fresh new start
To take one's old mistakes to heart;
Failures are just learning the ways
Success is earning, and it pays
Off in the end if you do try-
Live life to learn until you die.
This is a burden you must bear:
Strive for success until you're there-
And even when you reach your goal
Practice, or time will take its toll.
To earn or learn, it's all the same-
Living life sure is no game.
Don't take every day as it goes
Achieve, and watch as success grows...

*Inspired by one of Maya Angelou's quotes, 'Winning is earning, losing is learning*
