New Era Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

The sun shone
And the fog dispersed,
The men entered the new era,
They were ecstatic and thrilled
Thinking that they could enjoy their life with their heart's content.
But in reality the unfriendly and unhappy memories of the dense fog strictly deprived them,
They began to totter across the great realm,
It was an awkward situation for them;
At this juncture the wise poet appeared and encouraged them with his resounding words,
"Don't worry, dear friends!
At first try your best to withstand,
Remember you are under the bright sunshine,
Gradually the mighty sunshine will surely remove all the unpleasant memories of the dense fog from your mind
And ultimately you will win."
