New Girl Poem by Pia's Poems

New Girl

You came in and changed everything.
I had friendship and security in this place,
Now it is fading away.
You’ve pulled my friends away from me,
Drawn them in with smiles and gifts,
Yet for some reason,
I’m not worth your time.

This is not the first time this has happened to me,
Last time I ended up breaking down.
You will not break me down.
You can’t get to me.

I don’t need your friendship,
I don’t need anything from you.
So honestly, you can stop giving off such a fake kindness around me.
You obviously don’t care.

I’ve tried being nice to you,
I’ve smiled and made an attempt at friendship.
But obviously you don’t want it,
Because you aren’t exactly being the most pleasant person in the world.

I’ve learnt to hide my unstable emotions for my friends sake,
But you come out of no where and two days into knowing them you tell them about all your woes.
I fight hard to stop them from worrying,
But you just throw your emotions at them.
Have you ever thought that they might not know how to react?

What happens when you leave here,
And do the same to some people who aren’t as nice?
They will throw you down.
It’s just a warning.

Though I have an obvious dislike for you,
I will keep being pleasant,
And remain supportive of you.
For my friends sakes,
Not for yours.

Wow' a very serious emotional poem about misbehavior of a jealous, proud and whimsical girl giving discomfort. Thanks for sharing
