New Plan Poem by Thomas Plotz

New Plan

I don't want you to fade IM said,
None of you should, have that fate,
The date, with a man who dies, but just not dead

J. said, I need to stay, also - M.G.A.E.A.S.,
I'm sure there not wanting me to fade too

Sara told me, what I need to do
To help to keep me, to help to keep you

The problem, with the last part of the fall
The reset of it all, the illness
The part with the law

This is true, my heart turns cold, as
I see the color red

As I grow older, and more grey, faster day by day
Till I fade, from what I've had learned,
From you once more
For this soldier war, and fighting should be over,

Adore this plan,
There are others to take my place, for this time
I have seen them, from the other side of the road

Let our love, just stay - here
Please don't push me away here, if I try this new plan,
I love this land, in December
You can smell the love

In the sugar cookies
