New Seasons Of Us Poem by G J Salgado

New Seasons Of Us

What am I suppose to do
I've already asked you
When no one cares
You are not there

I'm afraid to look the other way
To see what is on the other side
Yet I yearn to get far away
From where we are just run and hide

Forget our worries
Reconnect with each other
Tell secrets and ghost stories
Until we escape even further

Upon the moon's kiss
Under the beautiful stars
Remember all of this
Looking from afar

Plants the seeds
Of what is waiting to be
Scatters them upon the seas
All we are has become forever free
