Nirvana Poem by G J Salgado

Nirvana

Forgetting the past is a must,
When the earth returns to dust.
Holding on to all the memories,
Singing to all of life's melodies.
It all becomes time to say goodbye,
To everything we love in life.
Never again will it be the same,
Cry for me when you call out my name.
In the next life we will be who we will be,
Keep this in remembrance of me.
Learn to run before you crawl,
Always jump before you fall.
Turn to look ahead not behind,
Open your eyes to be blind.
To free you inner soul,
Deny your heart and let it go.
It is the rapture of this,
That speaks of loves last kiss.
Yearn to live before you cry,
Before you live you must die.
