New Year is ushered in with a red carpet
You make plans and resolute resolutions
Year passed mistakes and gaps, you regret
You raise sights with fresh determination

You pray for a blessing upon your family
Asking for a shower of love upon your hearts
You pray for a rich harvest and life's prosperity
You ask God for grace aplenty, besides His mercy

Pray for your loved ones' safety
A home filled with lots of love
That grace may abound plenty
You would prosper, have enough

May God's favour be upon you
Lead you on to smooth paths
With wisdom guide you through
May you receive all that you ask
