New Year's Eve Poem by Eva Beylich

New Year's Eve

Rating: 3.9

Expectant outlooks
into the New Year.
Resolutions.
The first one rises into the sky -
bursts and explodes.
There is nothing left
but a short moment
of colourful stars.

Fantastic realization. Yes, most of the resolutions made on new year's view are generally like fire crackers. They are made with lot of fanfare but mostly perish after exploding in the sky with a glow. Enjoyed reading. Thanks for sharing.10 points.

What a wonderful idea to compare New Year's resolutions to fireworks! The first one rises into the sky - bursts and explodes. There is nothing left Brilliant!
