New Year's Resolution: Walking Up And Down Stairs Poem by Richard Wlodarski

New Year's Resolution: Walking Up And Down Stairs

Rating: 5.0

As I walk up the stairs
I think of obstacles
The deadly pandemic
The damn grisly death toll
As I walk down the stairs
I think of challenges
Rewarding the heroes
The keen front line workers
As I walk up the stairs
I question my damn faith
Priests abusing children
Popes living in damned wealth
As I walk down the stairs
I'm restored to great faith
Spiritual leaders
Uniting in One God

As I climb the stairs
I look up to God
And walking down stairs
I cry in laughter
