Night - Poem by Afrooz Jafarinoor

The sound of sparrows
And the sound of flight
Fills the horror of the night!
And the spooky silence of the tree
In the sleepy darkness out the windows
And the dream of ease
In the feverish bed of disease.
Can one get free?

Can one get free? for me this poem speaks of some kind of a mystery. a mystery of the night, suffering on the bed of disease and the quest to become free. thank you very much. very nice poem. tony (Report) Reply

This is a rather old poem of mine. I don't remember exactly how I was feeling at the time, but it seems that you are in the same mood now! Thanks for your comment and tell me more of your feeling at present! I could remember some details!
