Night Falls Slowly
The night spreads a dark blanket
Across the silence dale and plain
And the wind blows from the hills
Releasing a sweet romantic strain
The splendorous moon rises up
Spilling its soft beam all around
The birds fall asleep in their nests
Dazed by wind's whispering sound
The tiny stars bloom like flowers
Across the dark spread of the sky
Flames from bonfire lit on sands
Of the river side rise up and fly
