Night Takes Me To You Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Night Takes Me To You

Rating: 5.0

Night will fall after a while
And it will hold me tight with
Its sharp talons. Dreams will
Come draped in tattered clothes.
Moths will buzz around the
Night bulb shedding pale light.
My hands will search for you,
By my side and hide below the
Pillows. Through the window
The moon mocks like a child,
Making faces from behind the
Fleecy clouds. I sip the pain of
Losing you spilling from my heart

A very beautiful, sad and romantic write. One of the best from your poetic endeavors in terms of flow, phrasing, and images that you paint with words.10+
