Nightingale Poem by Lamar Cole

Nightingale

Rating: 3.7

The nightingale was perched upon the wishing well.
In my head I heard wedding bells.
I felt like I was in a fairytale.
I knew that I was under sweetheart's wonderful spell.
Loving her as the moonlight fell.

Very sweet poem of love on a moonlit night with a nightingale singing -under sweetheart's wonderful spell. A beautiful fairy tale, indeed........5 stars

Perching of a nightingale on a wishing well and singing inspired the poet for a lovely poem.
