Nine Year Old Boys - Poem by AHO Speaks
I had a heaven on earth experience as a great joy
Several years of sharing with nine year old boys.
All handsome, alert and would do what I asked
For some I insisted they do; what appeared, as an impossible task.
Each child was treated as my son whom I did love
Everyone crafted from a dream, and brought by a heavenly dove.
Elusive championship not because they didn't try
Even now my memores of each of you; bring tears to my eyes..
I thanked them for coming out each season to play
For win or lose; they certainly made my day.
