Ninety-nine percent
Upon this planet earth
Have taken a bow
And moved on
The ever changing
One percent
A wonderous spoke in time
Upon this cosmic wheel
Best to gather rosebuds
Wile ye may
Seize today not tomorrow
With both hands
Strike a brilliant note
In this mystic song.....
Life to be seized, grabbed with both hands. Its true not many do this but perhaps a lesson be to look in the faces of those that do for true life lives in these few souls. They do hold perfect rhythm and the tune exquisite Best to gather rosebuds as you may. A beautiful work of art.
The majority have exited moved on to some far away tomorrow dream, caught in the future. But for the mystic there is only This. All that matters is This moment every thing else is an illusion. Here he strikes a brilliant note in this mystic song. But It takes devotion, effort to live in this heightened awareness. Because the mind loves distractions. Carpe Diem! ! ! ! This aliveness to be fully lived has to be seized with both hands. Thank you for the reminder Edmund and the inspiration
