Live Guarani people; Semi-slaves

"Freedom, land, equality..."
The government offered.

"No! "
They replied, as did the Scotts today.

They were afraid of not being able to
Handle their own; needing guardians,

Commanded by hierarchy for centuries
Haven't they lost the taste of freedom?

Education, freedom with equal respect
Which should be first for such people?

Or do they think ‘fist is a fingers' group
Powerless are the singles.

Are they that wise?
