No Appearance Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

The sun did not appear today
It appeared as if dark is going to stay
We have no no other means to find the way
Still there is hope and ray

Can I not see it through naked eye?
Can we not analyze and ask why?
Why can't we see the broad day light?
Do we have so vision or sight?

All celestial bodies perform their duty
This is only admirable thing with natural beauty
They do not pause for the moment and perform
We only remain ignorant and do not confirm

Our life may certainly be in dark
We may not be able to see light or spark
We have not noticed the abnormal happening
This was there well from the beginning

The black clouds emerge and threaten
They may down pour and flood even
We may have no chance to recover from shock
As we have failed to take note or stock

Always we claim to be simple human
Deserved to be pardoned as man or woman
We commit and err regularly but do not reform
Still we deserve o be blessed with good form

This is human tendency must prevail and be permanent
There is chance for recovery and improvement
We got to learn the lesson from past mistakes
Every time no cause should be advanced or staked

We tend to forget very easily
Go for any temptation readily
We are prepared to spend time on useless things
Though it know fact that it has to offer nothing

So despite clear light we live in dark
We fail to grasp and find no good start
We blame it on luck and nature
Where we are not sure of future

We need to observe it minutely
Though it may be realized lately
Still it is not to late to come to the sense
There is still no need to remain tense

We may take it lightly and ignore
We have lost the appetite to explore
We can hope and do more
There is enough to be done and awaiting in store

If nature do not commit any blunder
Why are we so casual and afraid of thunder?
We are not starved of any blessings
We must see and ensure of no missing

We shall come up with the change
It may be new start of the page
It is not late even at this stage
We may prove and definitely come of the age
