No, Baby Not With You - Poem by Kimberly Lindsey

I have gone back in time,
And read all my old poems,
The topics are the same,
Just decades younger.

Is this what life is?
Is this what will remain?
No more, I can not do this,
Forever its completely insane! .

There has to be more,
Have I not learned my lessons?
To love and be happy,
No hateful scorn!

Old patterns hold true,
But not this time,
No, baby not with you!
Our love will carry us through...! !

for my love...of a lifetime
