The ticking of the clock,
marks the march of time.
The beating of the heart,
races faster when you find,
the love you have been waiting for.
There’ll be no changing partners,
when you’re in love’s embrace.
The love will surround you;
protect you when the world is benign.
Hold you and comfort you,
time after time.
There will be no regrets,
no changing partners anymore,
when you have the love,
you have been searching for.
